Introductory workshops present the entire Playlab framework and learn key practices such as mindset around play based learning, materials exploration, observing and documenting literacy, math, and STEM skills in play, and facilitating authentic writing opportunities with play journaling. Follow-up workshops for educators provide opportunities to visit the Faison Play Studio to co-observe and reflect on play experiences. Observations are followed by professional discussions around themes of literacy + play, making + play, or community building.
